 Challenge Workbook

A rich text editor that facilitates reporting of student activities by task visualisation and association

Challenge Workbook is a software editor that facilitates reporting of student activities by task visualisation and association as students work through a specific problem. Challenge Workbook allows students to produce assessable electronic documents within a template that they can modify by adding nodes to represent locations, activities or objects, providing a visual record of their investigation. Tutors can add date-stamped feedback to each of these observations.

Students can use rich text, pictures and hypertext which can be linked to local or Internet resources, or, embed external files (audio, video, PDF etc.) which once embedded become part of the Workbook document and can be moved with it. Workbook files would eventually be returned for assessment, and will be marked and commented on by the teacher.

This electronic product includes:

  • incorporated spelling checker
  • export file function to Word or PDF
  • illustrative showcase examples
  • incorporated pictures, hyperlinks and texts
  • develop tutor templates to get students started
  • asynchronous discussion feature
  • students share workbooks online with the server edition

Workbook is suitable for most educational use, from age 10 upwards to advanced tertiary level.
